Dog-Directed Reactivity/Aggression
Is taking your dog for a walk difficult because he barks and lunges on leash when he sees other dogs? Are you embarrassed or afraid to take your dog into public places because of out-of-control behavior upon seeing other dogs?

Do you have a multi-dog household where there is bad blood between the dogs in your home? Do you have to keep your dogs separated just to avoid an altercation?
​
Location dependent, we offer either a 5 lesson private in-home program or a 3 week board and train + 3 in-home hybrid program for these cases.
Human-Directed Reactivity/Aggression
Is taking your dog for a walk difficult because he barks and lunges on leash when he sees people? Are you embarrassed or afraid to take your dog into public places because of out-of-control behavior upon seeing strangers?

Is having house guests a dangerous experience? Maybe your dog charges the door and exhibits threatening behavior when you want to let friends or family in the house. Has your dog slipped out the front door and bitten the postal service guy?
​
Do you struggle with safely navigating food or toy situations involving your dog? Does your dog threaten to bite or actually bite if he perceives you are taking something from him? Has he tried to bite when putting on his harness/collar/leash?
​
For the safety of all trainers committed to helping your dog, this program is only available in a 3 week or 5 week board and train + 3 in-home hybrid program.
Obedience/Behavior Modification
Does your dog pick and choose when to do as asked? Does he pull on leash, jump on strangers, or bark excessively without stopping when asked?
​
Does your dog suffer from compulsive behaviors that are stressful to deal with but for the most part, are not dangerous?
​
Or do you have a really nice dog and just want them to learn helpful life skills?
​

Grooming
Do you have a hard time finding a groomer because of your dog's behavior? Do you have to schedule for your vet to groom under sedative?

Has your groomer denied you services because your dog thrashes on the table, tries to bite them, or tries to attack the tools and equipment?
​
Does your dog suffer from anxiety so badly that he drools excessively, soils himself, or seems really shut down for days after his appointment?
​
We are low volume for grooming so we can take plenty of time helping your pet overcome their fears or discomforts. For faster grooms in the future, we recommend our new program that teaches dogs how to find peace and tolerance in grooming procedures. This will begin as a 2 week board and train and end in a full groom. We are available to you for follow-up grooms by appointment.
AKC STAR PUPPY
Congrats on your new puppy!

Join us for a 6 week long group class that engages owners and their puppies (under 12 months) through confidence building exercises, social skills, basic obedience foundations, and cooperative care.
​
We will host one session per week, assign easy homework, build upon skills each lesson, and award graduates a certificate after the final session.
Canine Good Citizen
Are you interested in a series of practical evaluations that test your dog's ability to appropriately behave in a number of public and social environments?
​
This service is an evaluation and not a training program which can assist in our clients' assessment of their relationship with their dog and their dog's social stability.
​
Achieving this certificate can be helpful in supporting behavior assessments for rescue organizations, therapy programs, service dog programs, landlords/home owners associations and more.
